Hello, I am using a Belkin Wireless Router (F5D7230-4 6000), which I have a great signal to, 90%, and in the morning 10am till about 2-3pm in the afternoon the speed is great, I play some online games and my ping is always below 100ms. Then everyday around 4-5pm the speed gets really weak, and my ping goes to 400ms +, and around 7-9pm I can barely browse the web with the slow speeds. The router is WPA secured and only has me and 3 other computers connected to it. I am using a linksys WMP54GX Wireless adapter with updated firmware, and the router's firmware has been updated also...

So if anyone can give me some ideas or tests, or something I can do to find the problem it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

EDIT:

I found this in the firewall log...I went to the IP address's and have never been there before, why are they attacking me?

I'm guessing it has more to do with your broadband connection. I would guess that you have cable and are in a fairly populated area. Cable speed can definitely be affected by the number of people sharing bandwidth.

Yeah, but my friend down the street has the same ISP (Optimum Online) and he is always running fine ; S

Are those DOS attacks have to do anything with it?

During the periods of poor performance, please do this:

Register at DSLReports and run their line quality tests. Post a link to the results here.

If you've looked at the display, you can see you have ISP issues. You need to contact them and show the tech this display.
