ok. new to this site and have spent the last hour trying to find the answer on my own with no luck. My primary and secondary drives work fine except if i need to reboot. When i do, the BIOS does not find the secondary HD, BUT, if i simply turn the power completely off then back on, everything boots fine. Its really more of a hassle than a serious problem. To date, i have:

-replaced the IDE cable...twice
- scanned for virus and spyware with Ad-Aware and AVG
- opened the case and just stared blankly into it
- interrogated the kitty as to his where-a-bouts a couple weeks ago.

Neither of these drives are brand new...i have had them for a while and both have worked fine. And help is much appreciated.

Rex
