I'm taking my laptop to class tommorow and it's really imporatnat that the batery is all the way charged. How do I know if this is the case?

You can mark the thread 'solved', since the problem is solved. It's on the right side, under 'thread tools'. You'll get a drop-down menu, with one of the items saying 'mark as solved'.
