I have windows xp and I was wondering if there is any way that I can make a short-cut from my favorites menu to my desktop? I always have to bring up some page first before I can get to it. I would appreciate any comments or help.

Try exploring in 'My Computer', find your favorites, and right click on them. Choose 'send to desktop'.
