Is it possible to setup both 5 & 2.4 Gig Hertz on a modem from Spectrum?

Thank you,

Yes, all Spectrum routers support both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, allowing you to set up both bands on your modem simultaneously; you can access and manage these settings through your router's admin panel to choose which band you want to use for different devices depending on their needs.

Typically you would do 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1, depending on the configuration.

I am not sure if it's the same idea as cox, but they have an app that you can use to configure as well.

Do you see 2 networks that look the same in your list?

I called spectrum and they said they looked at it by remote. They said that my modem is all ready set to accept both
2.4 & 5 Gig Hertz.

The actual problem I am having is with a Simple Home Camera system. When I try to create a account
with that app my phone shows a continuous arrow circle an never connects. The phone works with
other apps on my WiFi but the camera is a 2.4 Gig Hertz system.

Any suggestions?
I don't see the Simple Home Camera model on the camera.

Thank you,

If you've never connected the new camera to the network before, it won't be on the network. It doesn't know the credentials.

Sometimes you have to connect the phone directly to the camera (either wirelessly or wired) using the camera's app in order to configure your local network. Then, after it connects to your LAN, you can access the camera via your phone via Wi-fi.
