Typically you would do 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1, depending on the configuration.

I am not sure if it's the same idea as cox, but they have an app that you can use to configure as well.

Do you see 2 networks that look the same in your list?

 

I get "Your connection is not private" message with the above numbers in my browser bar.

Some do show this message as the page on the router may be HTTP and not HTTPS. You can click on Proceed (you may need to click on more info/options to get to the Proceed to Site option).

 

I called spectrum and they said they looked at it by remote. They said that my modem is all ready set to accept both
2.4 & 5 Gig Hertz.

The actual problem I am having is with a Simple Home Camera system. When I try to create a account
with that app my phone shows a continuous arrow circle an never connects. The phone works with
other apps on my WiFi but the camera is a 2.4 Gig Hertz system.


Any suggestions?
I don't see the Simple Home Camera model on the camera.

Phone must be connected to the same 2.4 network as the cameras for setup

 

Agreed, I find a few of my devices that I set up have to be on the same wireless network in order to see each other, even though they are connected to the same physical device.

 

My phone is a i Phone SE. Is there a way I can tell if it using the 2.4 network.
I did use this phone to set up a Blink Camera but it did not work with the Simple Home camera account.

If you've never connected the new camera to the network before, it won't be on the network. It doesn't know the credentials.

Sometimes you have to connect the phone directly to the camera (either wirelessly or wired) using the camera's app in order to configure your local network. Then, after it connects to your LAN, you can access the camera via your phone via Wi-fi.
