REVO Uninstaller will provide you with that information. If you don't have it already installed download the free version here: http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html

After installing, run the program & at the top, click on View & choose Details.
Hello kernal1982,

Welcome to TSG!

-------------------------------------------------

There is no need to download any 3rd party software to find out when Service Pack 3 was installed -- Windows keeps track of that for you.

  • Click Start.
  • Click Control Panel.
  • Click Add or Remove Programs.
  • Check the box next to "Show updates".
  • After the list has finished populating, scroll down to find installation date of SP3.

TheShooter93......I would have suggested Windows Add Remove but looking at mine shows no date of install. Checked 2 other computers in home with same results. Does your Add/Remove show a date?

If Service Pack 3(SP3) was part of the Windows XP that was installed in that computer, it's not going to appear in the "Add Or Remove Programs" list.

It'll only appear in the list if an earlier service pack version of Windows XP was installed in that computer and then SP3 was installed at a later date.

Decided to check my Windows XP Update History & at update 1116 is the SP3 install. Doesn't really seem that long ago.

If kernal1982 doesn't show a date in his Add/Remove like me, checking his Update History would be an alternative.

Service Pack 3 was released in May 2008.

KB936929 is part of its file name.

It looks like you installed it in January 2010.

Did not think of that -- sorry for the mistake.
