using xp sp1 just wondering if it is possible send a fax to some one using my pc? im conneted to ntl broadband.

Yes, there is a program called WinFax from Symantec.

However, there is a fax program included with Windows XP, though I don't think its as good. You will need to select it from the Control Panel > Add / Remove Program > Add / Remove Windows Components. Fax services should be there.
