I have a friend who is trying to send pictures using dial up networking. The problem is that after using Home XP's resizing feature for email, he claims it takes 45 Min's to send 8-12 resized pics. I didn't think that that was all that bad for a dial up connection. Of Course he tells me that it use to take only 5 Min's or so. I sent 12 resized pics with my cable connection and it took almost 4 Min's.
So does anyone have any views on this? Are there any settings in Outlook Express 6 that might need to be changed?
Computer is running Home XP
2.XX Celeron
256 Ram
IE 6.0
OE 6.0
Thanks, any help is much appreciated
