I need to take my PC back to the shop that built it for me so they can investigate the over heating problems im having. Now I seriously doubt any funny business would go on, but just because i like to be paranoid, whats a good way to secure certain things on the pc?

obviously theyd need to have admin powers - which i use as my primary account with pasword which id need to temparaily remove. would putting paswords on folders work? if so how do i go about doing this? i only need to secure a few folders, but i cant see anything about pasword protection in the folder properties.

thanx for that :D

*looks over shoulder to see if anyone was watching him  *

no i dont have any 'naughty' files :p but there are various things id like to make sure are private - altho the linx u have suggested will only allow me to sequre soo much data. most limit the space to a matter of mbs, and i need something that will protect about 60GB!!!, and i dont have the cash to pay for it, oh well, isnt there a way of putting a pasword on folders like you can file protection with ms office documents?
