i looked for system restore the only thing i could find was system restore remover pro and nothing else is that right

You appear to be really lost. We have all been through that. If you are running 98 and want to restore an older copy of the registry to a prior date you can do it this way.

Start>shutdown. Click restart ms-dos next type in at the prompt scanreg/restore>enter and select an older date. Good luck

I think System restore remover pro has done just that..removed system restore.
