Hey TSG,

Working on a Toshiba Satellite A135(?) with Windows Vista (specific OS unknown). Whenever the user clicks anything, the screen turns negative colors for a second, then goes back to normal. Except for operations being a bit sluggish, everything else is normal.

I did some research on Google, but nothing useful turned up. I'm hoping someone has some idea on how to fix this?

Thanks guys, hope to hear back from you soon.

At this point, it's going to be academic speculation until I can get my hands on the machine again. It's a friend of mine's, and was simply helping make it a bit faster for them.

But in response to the drivers suggestion, my friend told me they had made the change, but accidentally. I'm not sure if they are mistaken when they think this is the result of a setting they changed, or if they truly did. I was not (and am still not) able to think of any settings within Windows that allows you to do this.

Any other ideas that you can throw out there for me to try when I am able to use the PC again?

Updated news: Just confirmed that my friend was changing some sort of setting, and after that the "negative effect" started. They think they were in Control Panel somewhere, but they're not positive.

They also said they weren't in any 3rd party software they downloaded off the internet.

My suspicion lies within Control Panel somewhere, but I'm not sure where else to look. I checked all of the basic settings, changed the Theme in Windows, etc., and the problem persists.
