Hi Arco! I am not as knowledgeable as some of the people in here but I believe in the older monitors an image could burn into the screen if left there over and over. The newer monitors that have come out are supposed to prevent this problem. So, the choice is yours. If you like screensavers then use them. They usually are a resource hog though and I have seen them cause people many problems.
Alot of sceensavers have spyware with em. Such as the ones from freeze.com, not to mention those annoying "PLEASE BUY ME!" screens. Who's actually gonna PAY for a screensaver? But yeah, they also make the computer slower. If i use a screensaver, its usually one of the standard winXP/98 ones. Personally i like pipes and scrolling marquee. They dont take as much as the d/led ones.
I'm not certain what that site you posted is up to and I'm not going to attempt to find out. Just to let you know, Adwatch blocked it as it is in the database for malicious sites. I turned Adwatch off to try and check it out and IESpyad blocked it too. If I were you I'd get rid of the screensaver you got from there and scan your machine with Adaware and Spybot.
