I have a older Dell computer and monitor with WIN 98 SE on it. When trying to install some printer software, i am are getting and error message telling me to adjust the screen resolution to 1024 x 78. The place to adjust it is grayed out, so I can't adjust it.
I checked to see if the driver is current, and it appears to be current. What else could be causing the resolution to be locked?
Well' if it's REALLY old, it's possible the video capabilities of the machine won't support resolutions that high. Or the monitor your using won't support that resolution.
