I installed the nVidia 56.64 drivers after removing the 53.03 drivers (using control panel and Driver Cleaner). I now have a VERY slight jitter along the left and right edges of my screen. I have tried verious refresh rates and nothing helps. Any others suggestions before I go back to the last set of drivers?

Doesn't sound like a driver problem to me, but a degaussing component problem. However you make adjustments to your monitor, find the degausser (mine looks like an upside down magnet with a line through it), and click on or press the button (however you adjust your settings) to make it work. Your screen should go through some terrific gyrations, then straighten up. If that doesn't work, try unplugging it, then plug it back in and crank it up. I usually hear a click when the degausser turns off.

Every so often my monitor does the same. It got really bad for a while, but has pretty much quit now.

Hope that helps. If not, maybe someone higher tech than me will come to your rescue. Hang loose.

Tried the Degauss of course. It did not seem to help much. The jitter is very very small and seems to affect the left screen edge mostly, and more at the lower half than the upper half. It is barely noticeable, and seems to fade away about an inch in from the edge. If it gets no worse I can live with it.

Have you checked for devices to the left of your monitor that might create a magnetic field?
