Screen has the hiccups

I have an HP laptop 17 Notebook. Recently, it has gotten the hiccups. I barely touch the keypad and the screen goes nuts. It jumps in and out of programs. I was actually on this site, moving to another screen, and I got bounced to my homepage. I have been on a secure financial site and the screen bounces out. I can't seem to touch keys accidently....I don't know where to start. Any ideas?
