So the other day I went to get the power socket in my laptop replaced. The computer repair centre went throught diagnostics and called later to say the motherboard was also damaged and the screen 'flickered' (this never happened before they took it). They replaced both the motherboard and the graphics card, raising the price to £200. After taking it back, I found the internet kept disconnecting and reconnecting and I worked out it must be something to do with the LAN card. Not wanting to go back to the centre, I bought a wireless USB adapter it worked perfectly. However, when I went to turn on the computer, the screen flickered and froze (which they claimed they had fixed). I restarted the computer, but now it does this every twenty minutes or so and did it multiple times while I tried to write this post. What could be the problem and am I entitled a refund from the repair centre?
