Running an ME machine, upon startup I get 2 RUNDLL error messages:

1) Error loading stlb2.dll; system can't find the file specified
2) Error loading E6F1873B.DLL; system can't find the file specified

I have also noticed that no programs are launched in the system tray (don't appear next to the time in the bottom right corner of the screen, meaning my virus scanner isn't working).

Any help would be appreciated.

I should note that you've been helping me in the "Security" forum as well (3 different computers, if that rings a bell...) I've downloaded all the programs and the AVG virus scanner onto this machine, and ran all of them w/ the new updates.

What programs aren't there ? You don't really need them there as long as you have another less stressfull way to use them.Like the start menu.
Or a desktop shortcut.Use the Programs/startup folder for VScan then
Or check it's options to be running, like you want.
