I lose my wireless internet connection sporadicaly and have to reset my router. I ahve a cable modem and it is not a problem with that. All lights stay active on teh router, just loses connection.
No sign in and user name is required with Comcast. Is router going bad??

Unplug the router completley, and leave it like that for a good 2 hours, more if you can wait. I normally unplug it before I go to bed and in the mornining plug it back in. This SHOULD give you a new I.P., if not, call your Internet Provider and ask them if you can get a new I.P. Also, i don't think your router is going bad.

I do not have a static IP address. I do unplug it then when computer establishes conncetion again all is fine. It seems to happen most if I bounce form one web site to another.

As a general rule, try upgrading the firmware on the router before all other suggesstions.
