Root Fire HD8 Kindle

Trying to root Kindle Fire HD8 5th Generation running os 5.1.3, I have found this website which I will list below, trying to determine if this site will work or not. It does seem a bit involved. If you have any insight or suggestions, comments or different approaches as just how this is accomplished, then please leave a comment with my request, I'd greatly appreciate any help.

Unfortunately, I don't believe we will be able to help with rooting/jailbreaking any device. Please refer to the rules, particularly the category Illegal Activity, which is towards the bottom of the page under Infractions & Points:

As you might expect, we don't want anything illegal going on here. Users cannot post hacks, cracks, pirated software, or anything of the like. Furthermore, we do not allow instructions on how to complete illegal activities, such as pirating. Please don't ask for advice on using illegal software.
To me, rooting would fall under this category. A mod can correct me if I'm wrong, but rooting is essentially hacking the device and it violates TSGs rules. I'm not sure if it is technically illegal to root a kindle (I see varying answers online in regards to the technicals of it), but in regards to this site, it is illegal.
What we usually say about rooting is

This is a very specialized subject and it's beyond our capabilities to help with such topics. Although it is legal to unlock/root/jailbreak phones in some countries it is still illegal in others. Several manufacturers use methods to prevent it. Any incorrect advice given can easily render the phone unworkable and we wouldn't want that to happen.
best advice we can suggest is contact your carrier or mobile phone supplier for their input. For your reading enjoyment: Cell phone unlocking legal again (USA, Aug. 1, 2014): http://www.siliconbeat.com/2014/08/01/cell-phone-unlocking-legal-again-as-president-signs-measure/

In this case I'd suggest contacting Amazon for advice or help.
Thanks for the clarification Terry. Do we have any internal posts or threads for this? Would be nice if it was on the rules page or somewhere that we could internally reference. (I'd PM you, but I don't have sufficient privileges yet)
Thanks for your interest, reticentAJ. I think that the answer is 'no.' I made a copy of another mod's post some time back and keep it with my other canned posts.
