Hello!

When I right click on something (either to copy, paste, save, create shortcut, print, etc) a blank box comes up. When I scroll the mouse up/down over this box, then the options appear. Also does the same for the options on top of the tool bar (tools, help, view, etc)

Any ideas?

ok go to My Computer/Properties/Advanced and open Proformance Setting.Click on Custom and make sure they are all ticked bar boxes 5,6 and the last one.then reboot

"smooth edges of screen fonts" is the only one that isn't checked!

It sounds like the text color has been set to be the same as the menu color. If so, they will only show when moused over.

If you're using the "Windows Classic" interface, change the text color of the menu in Control Panel>Display>Appearance tab. If you're using Window Blinds or Style XP, change to another theme and see if the problem is resolved.
