etaf i have looked the manual over completely and tried all tricks it sugested Nothing works. There is no reset. there must be some sort of chip in the ink cartridge that has gone bad or my printer has gone bad one. Have ordered new cartridge from dell and i am waiting for it to arrive. printer will copy but will not print from computer.

Right cartridge incorrect
I have a dell 962 allin on printer was working fine until last week then this message came up on the display ( Right cartridge incorrect ) I have unplugged printer completely and let set then reconnected printer. I have reinstalled cartridge several times. This has done nothing. I am waiting for a new cartridge to arrive from dell. I have cleaned contacts on printer and cartridge. I have followed all sugestions in manual for this problem. this is the color cartridge. black will print fine.

Got new cartridge today and installed it. Problem solved. There must be something in the cartridge that deteriorates over time and makes cartridge unreconized.
