I have encountered this acouple of times. When I right click, the context menu pops up, but the menu items are missing until I move my mouse over them. I've checked my system resources (this is WinXP by the by) and my cpu usage hovers around 4%, and I have about 230MB out of 512MB free. Usually a restart resolves this issue though, but how do I keep it from not happening? (i.e. what causes this to happen?)

Is that what usually causes this? In the process of updating my video card drivers, I ran into some issues, so i had to uninstall and reinstall it. make a long story short, it's still happenin' once in a while. also, it only happens on my XP profile, and not my father's. I probably did somethin' wrong. Oh wells:). Recent changes: added quite a few word documents, downloaded the Witch Hunter Robin cartoon series, and of course checked e-mail, haven't opened any attachments. I have norton Antivirus/internet security with updated definitions and all anyway. don't know what else I can say has changed. that's about it
