RESTORING DRIVE "LABEL"?

Hello!

A Problem Developed On My Hard Drive And I Wanted To Ask If It Might Be Able To Be Repaired. This Is What Happened. I Wanted To Make A Copy Of My New Hard Drive For A Backup (i've Done That Many Times) Using The "drive Copy" Software. But First, In Order To Do That, I Have To Disable The "go Back" Program. So I Did That Like I Have In The Past. (it Removes All The Go Back History From The Drive) When It Finely Finished, I Restarted The Computer, But This Time It Wouldn't Boot Up.
So I Booted From The Floppy And Found That The Directory Had Been Corrupted. So I Ran Scandisk C: And It Repaired All The Problems. It Had To Rename A Bunch Of Files. I Also Restored The Master Boot Record (fdisk/mbr) And Also Ran Sys C: To Try And Restore Any Files Needed. Now When I Boot Up, It Gets To "windows 98" And Then The Cursor Just Blinks At C:
When I Boot From The Floppy And Type Dir C: It Shows Files But Also Tells Me Drive "c" Has No Label? Is There Anything That Can Be Done To
Restore The "label" On Drive C? Or Is All Lost? I Have A Duplicate
Copy Of The Drive But It's Several Months Older, But It Should Have The Same Label Information. Can The Label Be Copied From The Older Drive And Edited Into The New Drive Registry To Replace The Missing Label And Get It To Boot Back Up?

Ok, Thanks! I Had No Idea. Is There Anything Else That Might Be Keeping The Drive From Booting? I Think I've Tried Everything I Know How To Do. Like I Said, When I Restart The Computer, It Gets To "win98" And Then The Cursor Just Blinks At The "c" Prompt?
