There are recovery programs available - try zdnet/downloads or softdownloads.com - that may be of assistance to you.
If you do download one of these make sure you do so to your A: drive and unzip it from there because anything you write to your hard drive may, nay, probably will, overwrite the very files you are trying to recover.
And that's your real problem. If you have saved anything since these files were deleted chances are they are now so corrupted that they are practically useless even if recovery programs find them.
The bottom line is: Don't set the best safety device in your OS to automatically delete all files entirely.
Sorry, but I suspect your sunk here. Hope you hadn't dumped anything too valuble.
P.S. There are some really switched on techies on this site though, so maybe someone knows how to do a deep scan of your HD that might help you.
