I have a Gateway laptop that was so slow it hurt to try to use so I bought from Gateway a set of restore disk. I cannot get it to work. I put the first disk in and turn off the power. When I restart it reads the disk waits about 30sec. then I get a message 0XC0000017. This thing will not go online or anything to try to get drivers or updates.Am I doing something wrong or should I complain to Gateway? Any help would be real nice.
