My computer has been randomly restarting my itself, and I have NO idea why. Someone please help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!



I had recently installed Norton System Works 2004, if this might be causing the problem.

Pent III 900 mgHz
512 mb RAM
40 Gb Maxtor hard drive
ATI 128 All-in_Wonder PCI
SoundBlaster Live
Kingston 10/100 ethernet
Windows XP Pro (all updates and service packs)

Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
Click the Advanced tab.
Under Startup and Recovery, click Settings to open the Startup and Recovery dialog box.
Clear the Automatically restart check box, and click OK the necessary number of times.
Restart your computer for the settings to take effect.

Thank you. This stopped the restarts. Now just have to find out what is causing the system error.
