Are you in fact supposed to run Secure Password Authentication?
Maybe you aren't.
Go to your properties for that mail account.
Then click the Servers Tab
UNCLICK the selection:
Logon using secure password authentication.
That may just fix the problem
I don't really think this has to do with NAV.
