hi....
hopefully someone can help me out here...
my MSPAINT is broken... don't know when that happened.
Error says "not enough memory or resources.........tell me to close some programs & try again". error was received upon opening the program but didn't shut down the program

this error is not true... but haven't a clue what is wrong

I have 700 MB's of HD left & 79% of 160mb's of Ram

I was able to cont on & open previously filed bitmaps... just not the Print screen section where you paste

Hiya

What this means is that you have too many programs running.

Go to Run and type MSINFO32

On the left click Software Enviroment, then Startup Programs. Copy/paste the list here.

Regards

No Eddie that wasn't what it was either....

I have been to add/remove windows setup since the first post & reinstalled it twice...
Its still broken
So I checked to see if it would reassociate itself w/ MSPAINT thru
"open with"
It would not. So it must be corrupted . It will open to show a file that is a .bmp but will not so that you can paste from Print Screen.. paste is grayed out .
Can I get a new download of MSpaint at Microsoft?

Edit :
heres the list

Try this

If you receive the above error message while opening Microsoft Paint, perform the following steps to correct it:

Open an existing bitmap.

On the Image menu item, click Attributes.

Click Default and then click OK.

On the File menu, click Save As, and save the bitmap under a new name.

Exit and restart Paint.
