IIRC this is the one caused by a bad BHO, so....In IE go to Tools>Internet Option>Advanced (tab)>UNcheck option "Enable
3rd party browser extensions" .
Now close and re-start IE. If all work OK now get and use the
following:

Bho Cop ( must register w/ PC mag 1st time)

OK, it may be an Internet Explorer 6.0 thing.

Please do this:

Go to http://www.spywareinfo.com/downloads.php#startup , and download 'Startuplist'.

Unzip, doubleclick it, and it will generate a text file that will list all running processes, all applications that are loaded automatically when you start Windows, and more.

Go to Edit > select all, copy it and post the contents here.

Well, that's why I wanted to have a look at the Startuplist log first.

Unfortunately, Pammi has no BHOs, so not only is running BHO Demon unneccessary, it also puts an end to our little theory...

As jw said, you do have an orphaned Comet Cursor ActiveX object, so you should remove that:

Go to Internet Options > Temp. Internet files, press 'Settin'gs', then 'show objects', and find and delete the Comet Systems ActiveX object.

OK
I gave comet the boot
and dl the bho demon and yes, I have no bho's, maybe because I use adaware when I remember to.
I am going to dl IE 6. Maybe that will help. With this and now my other pc stubbornly holding onto a w32 dupator virus I think I will go wacky!

Well
installed IE 6 and I can print web pages.
I hate doing that, I'd rather drive myself nuts troubleshooting to fix the problem. (haha)
But....whatever works!
A big THANX to all for your help
