i have a game that needs 800x600 to run, but everytime i use a resolution other then 1024x768 i get a message that says

"this image would work better on 1024x768

SELECT: Disable END: Clear"

im on windows xp pro, so anyone know how to stop this from happening?

Have you tried playing the game at the higher resolution
