A week ago, my monitor has been resetting every time I delete or right click a video file. It is as if the power is being cut off from the monitor for a short period of time and then turning itself on again. This occurs on every video file I remove or change by right clicking.
Two days ago, everytime I click on the "File menu", the monitor would also reset. I scanned my computer for viruses with AVG but there were no signs of a virus or any type of malware. I always have Zone Alarm on and I have not added or modified any program for the past month.
It has been quite some time since I last reformatted my computer and it has become very slow. I decided that I should just reformat my computer and solve two problems at the same time.
After installing the necessary windows updates and virus definitions, the same problem is still present. The monitor still keeps resetting.
These are the equipment I'm using:
Fuse flat screen monitor
Windows XP Home SP2
Compaq Presario 061
AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.2GHz
Memory 446MB Ram
Direct X 10
