Speakers are not working any more on my windows 98. The speakers are new. and have been used on another computer.

does it have a sound card? or is it integrated into the motherboard. what kind of sound card. have you try reinstalling the driver for it. check and see if the speakers ain't muted in the sound control

took sound card out what do i need off of it? serial numbers?
