I hope you can help me. I need advice on how to accomplish this. I have a 160GB SATA as my Master HDD, partitioned 20 GB for OS/Progs, and the rest for documents. I would like to replace this master with a new 80 GB IDE, only for programs and OS as a single partition. I also have a second SATA and IDE drives slaved. I did create backups of the C drive with Acronis True Image awhile ago. These are in .tib format ( whatever that is ) on the second IDE, not burned, except for the boot disk. I would like to know how to put these backups on this drive so as to avoid needing to go through all the installing and updating of my programs and OS, which is XP. Can this be done? Thanks for any help, it is appreciated.
