hi everyone,
can anyone tell me if there is a way to "rename" a computer after its initial setup... for example, my friend got a computer for christmas and before i got over there to help him set it up, he had already named it "smith family computer" during the initial windows setup phase. when his wife saw this, she said she didn't want any personally identifiable information on the welcome screen. is there anyway to rename the computer WITHOUT reinstalling and starting from the very begining?

Right Click My Computer>Properties>Computer Name Tab>Change Button at the Bottom and give it a new name, then Reboot and get behind a router.
