I have been given an old computer that has Windows 95 installed on it. I need to get this off so I can install Windows 98 then upgrade to 2nd Edition. I am pulling my hair out here!!! I can't seem to unistall it because it is the only operating system in the computer. How on earth do I get this sucker outta there?! :)

Hi,

Assuming that you have a Windows 98 boot-disk, why not just restart to MS-DOS, then type in:

format c:

Then stick in your boot-disk and restart. When prompted, select "Start with CD-ROM". This will give you CD-ROM access, and you can insert your Win98 CD into the drive and run setup from there.

Good Luck:)
