Reloading W2K the right way

645 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  pradhan
Before I do a complete fresh install of W2K, I'd like to attempt to re-load it over my current W2K install so I don't lose all the software installed. Can anyone tell me or refer me to an article for the definitive way to re-install W2K.

Thanks again.

If it's NTFS I don't believe you can do that. If it's fat32 you just choose the same install directory you had before, however, you will need to reinstall most if not all of your software. AND the My Documents area of the Admin profile will get written over :(
