Hey folks,

First off let me say that after close to 2 years this little guy finally gave up its HD. I replaced the old HD and Im trying to re-install Win 8 using a USB Drive but Im having alot of difficulty. I finally got the Bios to recognize my new HD as well as the USB drive but now I get an error code: 0xc0000098 File:\Boot\BCD It states 'The Boot Configuration Data file doesn't contain valid information for an operating system.

Anybody have any ideas. I am fresh out and my frustration level is pretty much pinged on this one.

Asus X200CA (Netbook, no Optical)
Running Windows 8 Pro (For Touch)
4 Gigs Ram
500 Gig HD (Sata)

Sounds like the USB key wasn't created correctly or it's missing some files. How did you create the Windows 8 USB stick?
