I tried to install Norton Antivirus 2007. Got an error message: "You do not have access to the HKey_Classes_Root, or one of its subkeys. Change Permissions and launch setup again." So I followed the instructions and went in and changed my registry. I restarted my computer and it doesn't boot past the Windows Logo screen. I tried booting in Safe Mode. That freezes up too. I tried booting to "go back to an earler configuration that worked," and that doesn't work either. Suggestions? Thanks for any help you can offer out there. I have a Dell Dimension 4500 running Windows XP Home Edition, Version 2002, with 512MB RAM.
