Registry Editor in Windows XP

After a failed installation of VirtualCD 4.5, I have some registry keys that the un-install fails to pick-up. I can't try to install again, as the setup program thinks I already have the software on my system.

Simple solution - delete the keys from the registry. I have one slight problem - the registry editor will not let me delete the relevent key, saying 'Error deleting key' (such a helpful error messaget isnt it?)

Any help would be appreciated

Maybe reboot and then try regedit again?
