Somewhere, my recycle bin bit the dust. I've tried resetting the Properties, fixing the registry, scanned for viruses, ran AdAware, SpyBot, Hijackthis... still, my recycle bin doesn't work. When I delete files, they go away. When I ask to empty the recycle bin, it asks if I want to permanently delete all the contents of the recycle bin, but there appears to be nothing there.
I ran a program called "erb" which thinks there is something there to delete, but it can't get rid of it and I can't "see" it.
Help?
