I copied my mail and bookmarks from a cd and pasted it to the Netscape folder under My Computer/C Drive/Programs/Netscape but that didn't work. I also dragged it into the Netscape folder but that didn't work. The import feature on Netscape only imports favorites from IE.

I'm groping through a fog of ignorance here, but you might try getting the stuff into IE, and letting Netscape import it from there. I don't know if that is possible, but I would give it a try, if the problem were mine. Have you tried Firefox ? I think it is related to Netscape. Maybe that could be an intermediary in some fashion.

How did you save them in the first place? Reverse the process for restoring them.

I dragged my email and bookmarks folders in the Netscape folder in Programs into My CD/DVD writer window (D Drive) which then wrote it in my CD. After the recovery I dragged my email and bookmark folder in Drive C back into the Netcape folder. Then I opened the Netscape folder and I saw my email and bookmark folder but I didn't see my bookmarks or email when I opened my Netscape program. In addition my HP computer came with a CD program called Record Now 5.0 but it didn't work. I tried to get it back thru the application recovery program but it wasn't there. I thought I would get it if I did a systom recovery but didn't. So I used the HP program to burn the cds. However, I could only burn them to cd-rw discs, not cd-r discs.
