I have a computer that I want connected to the internet at the same time as well as my dads computer two rooms down the hall. We've been searching for routers in magazines, but I've never had any experiance with any before. What companies are reliable, and wireless would be a big plus.

I have come across these:

Airlink 54 Mbps Wireless-G Broadband Router $19.99

D-Link Wireless-A/G Dual Band 108Mbps Wireless Broadband Router $39.99

Netgear 54Mbps Wireless-G Broadband Router $29.99

Linksys Wireless-G Router (With Vonage voice over IP Service) $0 (After rebates)

Any help in finding a great router would be appreciated.

I've used both D-Link and Linksys, and both make real good routers.

However, D_Link seem to offer a better warranty now, as my new one comes with a 3 year one.

Well, you want a wireless G router with the highest (of all the choices) bandwidth capacity (that's how fast your connection will be). Other than that it's really up to you. Don't forget you'll also need to get a wireless adapter (PCI or USB) for the second computer.

Alright, so I will always need to buy a router and card seperately, or are there any that come together/built together? Because I wen't to Radio Shack today to see what they had, and they had a D-Link router for $60, and a wireless adapter for another $60.
