Okay, i have recently formatted my computer upstairs and i need help, i have a D Link 704p router, a Motorola modem, 2 other computers, one new with internet, one moderately old(2004 dell dimension 4600) that i cannot get internet on. i have tried the Create new Connection wizard and that did not help at all, it told me it should already be set up, but i am not getting a connection, i have checked the cords and they're all good, i just dont know how to get it to work, please any help is appreciated :).

i have installed pretty much every single driver on the device drivers disk, when i try and install anything off the d link disk, it only installs a "Print Server" the regular Drivers disk just brings up a screen for a dial up modem or something like that, it trys to find it and it cannot. is there another disk i should know about or a driver i might have overlooked?
edit- diddent realize there was a link X)

You don't need anything from the dLink disc . . that is for your router.

Try this: . .

Click on Start . . Run . . type cmd . . at the prompt, type ipconfig /all ( space before the / is important ) . . look at the IP address and tell us what it is

e.g 192.168.1.10 . ..
