Look up the boards specs on their web site. They should tell you all you need to know as far as memory and what types of processors it supports. Since this is a newer Athlon you might be paying premium price for a new motherboard. Nothing wrong with getting a board/CPU combination that is only a couple of releases old....you will never know the difference.
