Hi,
I want to do a clean Re-install of win2k and format my hard drive.
However, i cant figure out how. I have tried using the startup disks that i used to install win2k the first time, but i couldnt get to a format or clean install option. I have the HD partitioned into 2 drives. Do i need to delete the partition? Thanks for the help in advance.

There are other way if you don't want to deletion and recreate the partition.

Restart computer system and press F8 to prompt to the DOS Mode. When you are in DOS Mode, just type: format c:/s or format c:. Then it will ask something like It will delete if you format (Y/N)? type Y and enter, it will be formatted the drive.

or

insert the start up disk and reboot the system. Then under the Windows Start UP Title: enter # in the option that provides "Run computer with CD_ROM" . When you are in DOS Mode, make sure it is in A:

Then type format c:/s and enter it will format it for you (remember win Me does not support /s for format)

Good luck
