I have a computer that shuts down randomly, what would cause that?

Any number of things, but in an effort to take a potshot, without any clarifying info, I'd say the culprit could be a faulty power supply or a intermittent stick of RAM. The specifics (OS, PC type, possible triggering of errors you've noticed, any recent changes made, etc) help us to help you

ram, graphics, spyware, virus, faulty hardware, power supply, ect...

could be any of those. like fortch said...post your comp specs and explain when your pc shuts down..like what are you doing before it does.

I started having the same problem after I installed another stick of ram....

My error is a minidump.
