Ok... heres my problem. My computer ramdomly shuts off. It seems to do it when im in a program that uses more ram such as 3dstudio max any games, photoshop ext... Ive tried blasting a fan into my comp to make sure its not a ram problem, and it wasnt. I thought it was the power supply, so I switched with a friend. for a day or two it worked, but then it started up agian. the other comp works fine with my power supply so its not that. Im thinking its the ram but im not sure.
Just in case heres my specs
AMD Atholon(TM) 2400+
523 megibites of ram
As for the rest I dont know.
So if anyone can. please help me out. thanks alot

It could be the power supply. What all do you have on your system and how big is the power supply?

You can use this to test your RAM memtest

You can try downloading and running memtest. It will help to narrow things down. It takes sometime to run.
