No, it does NOT mean there is nothing wrong with the memory. Built in memory tests are next to useless. The only way to test memory is to boot the system with a memtest usb and run it for a minimum of 1hr.
Next have you reinstalled your old memory to see if that works? If not, do so.
When you R&R memory in a laptop, you need to follow this procedure;
1 System OFF and unplugged from A/C pw
2 Remove the battery and then press the ON button 2~3 times
3 Open memory bay and remove or install your memory. Be sure it is fully seated
4 Close memory bay and replace the battery. Connect to A/C pw and pw ON
Done.
