Finally my Athlon 3200 /400 fsb arrived, but my ram has not.

My Mobo supports 400/333 DDR ram.
Here is my question. Will a 333 and 433 (sticks of 512 ddr ram) work well together? Or at all? Will 333 work with the 400 processor?

Any special overclocking I should do for best performace and how ? Heat is not a problem here.

I wouldn't mix memory like that, the 333 is going to have a serious overclock just to run at nominal.

The faster memory will slow down to match the speed of the slower. It wont cause you a problem but your wasting money on the more expensive ram.

One more question, the ram that I have coming in today is dual channel. Which slot on the Mobo do I put it in? Does it matter? How do I enable it to run in dual channel mode?

To run in dual channel mode, you must have the same speed and size memory(i.e your 333 and 400 example above would probably not work in dual channel mode.)

You would then take these identical sticks and place 1 in slot one and one in slot 3.

if your not worried about dual channel mode, put it in slot 1 and slot 2
