I am using an old version (Quicken 6 for Windows) under WIN 98 SE and ran into a strange problem. I ran a Transaction report for 1/1/04 trough 12/31/04 for a category. The report listed all transactions but insted of a 9/1/04 date for a transaction it listed a 9/30/03 date (there is no transaction in the registeer for this date). All the numbers for the trasaction match the entry for 9/1/04. What is going on? I could ignore the problem but it makes me uneasy.
Iknow I'll probably be advised to move to a newer version but am concerned with how over 10 years of data will migrate. Any words of wisdom?
